x_los,
vonquixote,
ashteth (aka Jon's girlfriend/Henchman #2 in an episode as yet undisclosed), and I sat down in two different places and watched the original 'Scream of the Shalka' webcasts all the way through. We had thoughts and said them out loud and recorded them, and now if you want to listen to these thoughts they are uploaded to the internet in the form of podcasts.
Each section starts right at the beginning of the episode (with the BBCi logo), and goes on approximately the episode ends. Part 5 goes on for substantially longer than that.
As a disclaimer I'd like to mention that the best part of 'Scream of the Shalka' is its dialogue, which we couldn't really hear. So we focused on the plotting and the animation, which, as you may know, is not the best part of Shalka. Any harping on about slow moving plot or REG eyebrow is done with affection.
Here are the commentary parts:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
Part 6
They're also on iTunes for download.
You can watch Shalka either at the BBC official website or Dailymotion or YouTube.
