[identity profile] aralias.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] radio_sonic
It's time for the second Radiosonic podcast! Chatting in real time about their influences are [livejournal.com profile] aralias, [livejournal.com profile] x_los, [livejournal.com profile] bagheera_san, and [livejournal.com profile] neveralarch, with the help of [livejournal.com profile] bessyboo as technical support, time keeper, and thinker of thoughts. Talking to us from the past or the future are [livejournal.com profile] vonquixote and [livejournal.com profile] birdsarecalling. This podcast is about what influences the Radiosonic writers, in particular: what we stole from Doctor Who and Big Finish (consciously or unconsciously) and what we chose not to steal.

The podcast also contains two rough clips of the first episode to go into production, episode 2: The Shackles of the Wolf. These clips are from the very first readthrough with the actors. The director has yet to issue direction, the pacing is off thanks to Skype's lag and my dodgy cutting, the audio quality is bad, and the sound effects are being read in by the Production Manager. Nevertheless, it seemed a nice thing to put into the podcast since we have these clips, and it should be interesting to see how radically different the scenes sound by the time the episode is actually finished.

N.B. Although we talk about the relative gayness of the writing team and our roots in fanfiction, it is worth noting that there is no explicit Doctor/Master slash in series 1.

Please enjoy the podcast.
